Class Details
This half-day course focuses on the building blocks for serious illness conversations utilizing “Serious Illness Conversation Guide” from Ariadne Labs. This guide serves as a conversation framework for physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, allied health professionals, and other clinicians to explore topics that are crucial to gaining a full understanding about and honoring what is most important to patients.
This course also covers how to identify patients who would be appropriate for serious illness conversations and where to document conversation outcomes.
